This is not a posh place, but a place to come for a rest and eat something to break a long car ride in our case, 460km. Vivonne is one of many villages along the national routes in France known as the village étape a sort of staging village. They will see them on signs along the highways and they are usually reliable places to stop. There are strict criteria to allow a village. We didn't know about it, but the day we were on the 4th. July 2015, it happened that it visited the 20th The anniversary of the founding of villages étapes was and we received a cup to remember the day. You can read more about it on Wiki. This special café seve a really good salad. There are two sizes; I had the big ones and it was gigantic. We also had a pizza and it was less successful too much cheese and so a little fat. The coffee was good and the waitress was friendly and helpful. If you happen to be on the N10 and are close to Vivonne and want a pit stop, this is a decent place to stop. Continue on the road is a large Super U (Hypermarket) and you can also be in stock with your regulations.
