I've been to Cafe Style twice and will definitely return. I have always advocated supporting independent coffee shops over the boringly generic high street chains and Cafe Style certainly deserves it. The coffee is of a very high standard and there is a good range of sandwiches and cakes on offer, all of which are reasonably priced, fresh and tasty. The service is friendly and efficient. It's in a very convenient location near the free car park and across from the supermarket so you can do your shopping and pop in for coffee and a snack. I'm hoping that in the summer they'll put a few tables outside to allow for a bit of people watching. If I have one suggestion it's that they put in a water...
I went to this restaurant for lunch with two friends and two children. We were the only customers there. The coffee was lukewarm, the staff seemed uncertain about the cake ingredients, and my sandwich didn't arrive until I reminded them 25 minutes after paying. I ended up eating my sandwich after everyone else had finished. To make matters worse, the owner, or who I assumed was the owner, came in and started taking photos of us for social media without asking for permission or making any conversation, especially considering there were children present. I have no plans to return to this restaurant in the future.
We went there for a Private Function in the evening and it was great fun. The cakes and savoury food on offer looked amazing and there was a wide range of soft drinks. It was crowded and quite noisy, but all the staff remained happy and friendly right to the bitter end (despite probably us overstaying the cut off time sorry! . They cleared the tables and chatted to the guests. The cafe can be hired for private use and I would certainly recommend it. Now just need to go back in the daytime with my children!
I have been to Cafe Style a handful of times and each time have been impressed with the service, food and drink. The staff are super friendly and we keen to seek feedback, having only just started out. I offered a few tips such as Pom Bears and milk (instead of dark) hot choc for kids; which I was pleased to see via the social media posts and a recent visit, have been implemented. I had high hopes for this restaurant opening. A friend suggested it for their good coffee, but I found the coffee to be lukewarm and weak. The food was even worse. The temperature inside was so hot that the windows were steaming up, which was uncomfortable for my pregnant friend and friend with a two-month-old baby. I was expecting a great experience, but was greatly disappointed. Other friends have had similar experiences. I would recommend avoiding this place.

The atmosphere is fantastic, the staff are incredibly friendly and welcoming, and go above and beyond to ensure your satisfaction. My children enjoy coming here, which allows me to have a more peaceful and relaxing time. The coffee is always perfect, and the cakes are delicious. I highly recommend trying the brownie - you'll keep coming back for more.
I visited this restaurant with my friends last night after hearing it was a great place to go and had recently started serving in the evenings. We had some delicious tapas-style dishes, particularly enjoyed the chicken wings and Camembert. We ended up trying everything on the menu and going back for seconds! The owners are very friendly and welcoming, and the prices are very reasonable. We will definitely be returning.
I visited Cafe Style with a group of mummy friends a couple of weeks ago. The staff were very helpful and accommodating. We asked if we could have two tables pushed together so we could all sit and chat, nothing was too much effort. I enjoyed one of their tuna toasties and a delicious hot chocolate with cream, marshmallows and even a chocolate flake! I would definitely recommend popping in to this lovely gem! Despite the heavy rain and getting drenched, we were greeted warmly at the restaurant. The coffee was rich and the tuna melt panini was delicious, although so hot I had to wait for it to cool down before digging in. The variety of freshly baked cakes also looked enticing, but unfortunately I was already too full to try more.
