The name L'Escale lowly translated is "Stopover". If you found the restaurant you would want to stop. Just over the Iron bridge on the right is a very pleasant place to eat. They have two outside areas and a very well appointed Dining room.We had a party of around eighteen sat down for lunch, some Plat de Jour some A La Carte. All was served together. There was Garbure, (A thick soup of vegetables and meat) Egg Cocotte,(Eggs in Cream with Bayonne Ham) Steaks, and Salads for examples.Highly recommend this eatery for all times of day.
