We arrived half an hour late for Sunday lunch, wanted to rush our meal (in order to catch a flight), the restaurant was full, and we asked for our lamb to be taken away and cooked further. We ate only two courses and had no wine. In other words, we were not the best clients. Bult the staff, from the excellent mâitre di to the servers, remained helpful and smiling. The setting, above the river Tarn with a pretty bridge, is charming and the table settings elegant. The food is good and very well presented. Duck and lamb were both very 'saignante', accompaniments were light, and the hot rhubarbe soufflé delicious. I'll be back.
