We decided to give this place a try because everywhere else we wanted to go to was full or too busy to give fast service. On entering the restaurant, we both turned up our noses. There was a smell like boiled cabbage crossed with stagnant, dirty water that had been used to wash the floor. Not a good start. Then we noticed that despite it being a busy Saturday night, there was only one table taken...We got an enthusiastic welcome (desperate even), and chose our table despite misgivings because of the smell. The baby on the next table started yelling. We were given the menu and shown the board. On the menu were salads and drinks. On the board was a selection of dishes none of which appealed to my partner. We waited. The guy on the front desk surfed on the internet. We waited. He carried on surfing. The baby yelled. In the end, we decided that it was not going to be a pleasant experience to stay, so we left. We gave up waiting for someone to come and take our half-hearted order in a noisy, weird smelling place.Sorry guys, but you'll have to do better if you want to compete with La Croisée (which was full).
