This is a beautiful courtyard setting, not elegant but very evocative, almost decadent, with its ruby red drapes and giant chandelier. It was crowded but the Monsieur accommodated not only us (with no reservation) but a few coming even later than us yet we were not packed in. The staff was very nice and the food was good. My companions had lamb shoulder for two which they rated a four out of five – good value and lots of meat. I had the pintade (a guinea fowl leg and thigh ) which was fried, I think, and so-so, but I adored their thick brown and crunchy potato wedges, and the eggplant was good as well. We greatly enjoyed ourselves and will go back!
