This is the Michelin 1 ⭐️ of Banyuls. We went there for a treat, expecting to be surprised by creative good cuisine, and were disappointed. The food is good but on the average side, more like a high quality bistrot than a 1⭐️ restaurant. One dish was very good though: some iberic pork with a spicy sauce and girolles. Very good. The rest was ok. Besides, coeliac people need to be careful: informing about your allergy isn't enough, you need to make sure when each dish comes whether they paid attention or just forgot you couldn't have wheat based products...
