I'm giving this a 4 rating because I though the place was unique for the area, cozy and friendly and the food style was something different than we are accustomed to. Granted they have fondue, which most people know about, but the raclette (Raclette is a firm, pungent cheese from Switzerland that is the center of a popular winter social event in the Alpine parts of Europe) was something new to me. Grilling your own cheese is a new experience and served with roasted or boiled baby potatoes. The boiled potato was boring, but the roasted were delicious. There was also an assortment of cured meats to go with it all. If you don't eat these things you might not like this restaurant, but I thought it was good. Also, we were there at the beginning of May and it was almost empty. It surprised me to hear that they close during the high tourist season and do more business in the winter. That could account for the poor reviews I read which were mostly by French people visiting during those winter months. Our experience however was good.
