"Check Inn Restaurant is located in Böblingen. Once the state airport was until 1935, where the Zeppelin landed. After large areas of the area have moved into the new neighborhoods of the airfield, few architectural remains of a glorious past testify. But this is almost no longer interested in this century. The Check Inn has been in the middle of the airfield since 2016 and offers trendy international cuisine. Maybe. I wanted to cancel a visit to the place for a special occasion, maybe even a little quiet mmelancholy along with the former history that suggested me with due distance – so far I have not taken a step into the check Inn. However, the current situation helps me to make a first attempt. After weeks of forced abstinence, my mind simply stands for unknown culinary delights. Some locals offer pick-up offers, some even a free delivery service. If that's not the best way to check in? As a forecasting person, I already call Eve to hand over my order for Sunday afternoon. Probably because of the big claim, I will land in the waiting loop. Then try to reconcile me again on Sunday morning. When my gentle conversation comes, the young lady on the phone quickly becomes a professional mode, picks up the delivery data and finally asks whether there are drinks or a dessert. Unfortunately no – my wine cellar is well filled and sweet is not one of my favorites. On Sunday morning, I want a little knirps to the Christ Child. Then the food really lands at 12:30 in front of our front door, although the well-launated lady from the delivery service had to turn a small tour around our block. Payment would have been possible without contact with credit card, but we deposited the sum in cash next to the Easter bunny in front of our front door. It was accepted. The Sunday menu, expected with tension, consists of: 1) 1x Panned carving from the calf with pommes (for 16 Euro instead of 21 Euro) 2) 1x vital bowl with leaf cachets, celery and avocado puree, sweet potatoes pommes and marinated colored lens salad (for 11 Euro instead of 13 Euro) That was good. Both dishes are transported in large warming boxes in the car and placed in the respective packaging in front of our front door by a 100% recyclable cardboard tray and a 100% recycled plastic cover. With the same internal volume of the packaging, the actual filling quantity is different. The Schnitzel part is exactly right and corresponds to a pleasantly dimensioned Sunday meal. On the other hand, the Vital Bowl proves to be a triple felt section that is not to be done with a swing. In the carving, two smaller parts, not too dark, are stuffed, and there are many frites that won't be lazy. As a nice gesture at the top, a small douche with a cranberry sauce, which would harmonize to a baked camembert. Absolutely lush and blessed with amazingly diverse aromas is the vital dish: on a unfortunately already slightly watered leaf salads are very crispy roasted tofu slices, hip sweet potato pomers, pleasant edgy lentil salad with red and yellow pepper pieces, tastefully harmonious avocado pure and a mild celery pure. As an unannounced bonus for everything: 9 slices of bread (white baguette, white bread with black olives, dark grain bread – for breakfast next week is already available), two packed biscuits and two refreshments. We like the snow kings – but decide to put less on traditional standard kitchen and try one of the more experimental offers on the next order (the extensive delivery card with a good dozen different dishes changes weekly). We have already been able to convince ourselves of the absolute deadline and the well-tuned delivery team."

Schwanen

Schwanen

Poststr. 50, Böblingen I-71032, Deutschland, Boeblingen, Germany

Mittagessen, Europäisch, Fast Food, Asiatisch, Deutsch

"Since the end of last year, the former guest house in Schwanen (the traditional audience with grounded cuisine and the dubious subtitle “Zum singen Host” instead of the Asian restaurant “Viet-Thai” – in the personal association with the Asian snack Thai-Dat in the lower post street. However, the change has not yet worked: you miss an internet presence and a new signage. The hosting documents and cash registers also bear the old name “Schwanen”. The “Viet Thai” with its changing lunch tables is already firmly anchored in the local press. Friends recommended the place just after Christmas so it was already on my wish list for a few weeks. The first optical, inner architectural impression is (yet positive). Finally I was in the swan in autumn 2013, then there were still rustic corner benches and many wooden furniture. Now it looks more airy, brighter, friendly, with beige furniture and discrete Asian wall decoration. The old swans remember the large tiled stove and the toilets. At noon, half a day, the place is quite busy: a small circle of friends, a joviale old manor house, an older couple that needs extensive help in ordering. Communication and workflow still do not work: too much the cultural and linguistic discrepancy between the rather helpless, young, Croatian service, the swaying guests, the Asian boss. The map is rich, offers a wide selection of meat dishes (also with duck! Fish and seafood, noodles and vegetarian dishes. Some pages are placed in visual envelopes. Among them are the lunch table offer (shown in a perforated screen cover, with a dozen meat dishes and a vegetarian offer – all between 6.80 euros and 8.80 euros. My accompaniment and I finally choose 1 duck meat with bamboo and vegetables in curry milk sauce and 2 roasted tofu with vegetables. For lunch, a soft drink of 0.3 liters is offered cheaply: only 1 Euro! You can drink two glasses. In our well-cooled cola weave a piece of orange – a great idea instead of the usual lemon. The duck is crispy, not a bit fat, is accompanied by crispy vegetables and swims in a wonderfully spicy and at the same time slightly creamy curry sauce with coconut milk. A piece of rice is served on the same dish – directly from the crowd! Just like the vegetarian dish of roasted tofu slices and lots of vegetables (red paprika, bamboo pieces, green beans, zucchini, broccoli . The dark sauce seems to consist mainly of soy sauce, infuses defying Umami taste and makes powerful thirst. Both dishes are solid and cheap, but without sophistication or a special handwriting. We want to be fed quickly in the middle of the day, we're safe to use here. I realize, however, that I will hardly come a second time. Unfortunately, the situation is escalated during the closing coffee. We expressly order a Vietnamese coffee with (usually condensed milk). We know the special ritual of another Thai place, find it very charming and enjoy it again and again. The fact that 4.80 euros are required is somewhat high in the otherwise rather low price structure, but you can understand this small coffee speciality like a dessert... Even when ordering, the service is somewhat nervous. A few minutes later a still nervous cartridge appears, which once again checks our order and warns “15 minutes”. We know that it takes some time to run the water through the metal filter. Everything is abandoned, it takes a very long time again – and then the essential condensed milk is missing, which is with the lamella. We complain that the service is too devastating the shoulders, at some point the coffee has gone through long and already cooled. If the boss finally gets the milk (which he has to buy or get), we have lost patience and just want to pay. Unfortunately, the cartridge is set up for discussions that we no longer want to pursue. After unhappy hin and her, the cold coffee is not charged to us. Unfortunately, when leaving the restaurant a scalable taste remains. If we should ever come back, the Viet-Thai must be even more professional."

Café In Der Bäckerei Konditorei Raisch

Café In Der Bäckerei Konditorei Raisch

Freiburger Allee 47, 71034 Böblingen , Baden-Württemberg, Boeblingen, Germany

Kaffee Und Kuchen, Asiatisch, Fast Food, Frühstück, Cafés

"Just a few weeks after the opening, the Raisch in the district of Böblinger Diezenhalde has taken over a firm function – as a meeting point, second living room, popular café, space for a common breakfast or lunch. After long years of open positions, you're wondering what was before? Especially on the market days, the Raisch is so heavily frequented that the human loops waiting at the inlet reach the place. It will be a difficult exercise. So, great praise for the family business originally from the Black Forest village Calw, which has assumed this long empty place. In its function as bakery, pastries and cafe, it offers a variety of breads, pastries, cakes and cakes. In addition, there are snacks, sandwiches, finger food, salads, snacks (such as bread chips with Parmesan and Alpirsbacher beer) and the very coveted lunch table, which must be ordered on the previous day for reasons of capacity. I have tried the offer several times and I am thrilled, especially because of the rich portions, the very favorable prices and the hearty handle of the cook to give a strong wort and enormous sauce volume. The consistently moderate prices range from 8 to 9 euros, meals are usually meat-laden (maul bags with a large number of brushes, carvings in all forms, burgers, sprinklers, goulash – on Friday, but regular fish), many supplements and almost always a versatile salad. On request also to take completely. In the meantime, however, there is already an incubated community of lunch table users who regularly meet on site. On the last day of the market I tried one of the breakfast offers offered in the versions of Sweet (3.30 Euro), Hearty (4.90 Euro) and Cheese (4.90 Euro). My chosen cheese version was dressed quite on a Vesperbrettle, consisted of several slices of cheese, an ice-ball-like Klack's fresh cheese, two rolls of choice (in my case a lye and a kernel, but it could also have been more exclusive) and (for me totally superfluous) a jam of choice. Hot drinks go extra. The big coffee (2.80 euros) was tastefully not the hit. You will find plenty of space in the generously furnished and visibly sown coffee house interior funnel. Mobiliar and ambience are just a few weeks old, so still up in shot. To the right, accessible toilets. Only in service is still air. During the opening hours in October, almost unskilled, inexperienced employees were in use, leading to chaos – of course also due to the difficult regulations for on-site consumption. In the meantime, the situation has improved somewhat, but it is not an advantage that no regular staff has been set, but that constantly changing people are in use. However, my service lady for breakfast was very exhausting and customer-oriented, has apologized several times, although only a small thing was not perfect. Raisch is located on the ground floor of a high-rise building, close to places of daily need such as supermarket, bank, pharmacy, doctors, physiotherapy. Bus stops and free parking are in front of the front door. Both the guest room and the spacious toilets are located on one level and are therefore easily accessible for mobility restrictions or persons with strollers. It is the ideal place to return after purchase, market visits or deliveries. I hope that the large space in front of the house can be played in the summer and a covered terrace is allowed. That would certainly be a profit for the entire neighborhood!"

Gartenschenke

Gartenschenke

Baumgarten 6, 71032 Böblingen , Baden-Württemberg, Boeblingen, Germany

Regionale Internationale Spezialitäten, Mittagessen, Schwäbisch, Schnitzel, Deutsch

"With this heat you want out of town! The Gartenschenke is located in the middle of scattered meadows, on the edge of the Kleingarten complex Am Wasserberg . The access road is hidden between Reiterhof terraces and Real. You can also walk very nicely or stop there on a bike tour. Even if the clientele consists mainly of regular guests of the small garden, new guests are warmly welcomed. The guest room, together with a side room, is rustic. The beer garden is slightly furnished, but beautifully shaded. The map has mainly petty-bourgeois, grounded dishes (carvings, meat cubes, roast potatoes) at real prices. The portions are really lush and barely to create. My bugs with additional salad were unbeatable for 6.80 euros. The homemade late zle get an appetizing sun-yellow color of saffron, a mixture of edamer, Gouda and Mozzarella ensures a sharp cheese note. For this, very juicy onions and as decoration in the middle a florally cut radish. Very pretty. Only the complementary salad floats in the robust marinade. Here's less fun! It goes without saying that the remains were packed for me. The Scavenger in Parmesanpanade of my companion was also a large part. The potato salad scored with amazing juice. We were operated quickly, although some things could be optimized in the service... I'll try the changing lunch table in the next few weeks. The drinks were well cooled and splashed."

Mercure Stuttgart Böblingen

Mercure Stuttgart Böblingen

Otto-Lilienthal Strasse 18, 71034 Böblingen , Baden-Württemberg, Boeblingen, Germany

Vegetarisch, Fast Food, Deutsch, Kaffee, Käse

"As part of a business breakfast, I was invited to Mercure Böblingen. The house has long been known to me, but it is easily accessible by car on the edge of the industrial area Hulb, between furniture store Gamerdinger and shopping market Real. Okay, the location is not particularly picturesque, but the hotel is distinguished, for example, by the largest outdoor swimming pool in Stuttgarter Raum and has enough parking, including special women's and disabled parking spaces. From the outside the building is quite unspectacular: it is practical and expediently cut without special architectural kink taste. It has the Visions restaurant, where you can take both lunch and dinner, as well as a bar-bistro and several spacious conference rooms that are almost all named under the name of the company founders (e.g. Bill Hewlett or Dave Packard or William Moog). Both the building itself and the individual rooms and the toilets are easily and conveniently accessible. The welcome of the Mercure team was characterized by a routine and professional friendliness. One speaks several languages and immediately tries to answer questions or be helpful. The generous wardrobe offers enough space and the duck looks amazingly bright and welcoming. Although a new building is created directly in the garden, I did not experience any impairment by Baularm. The interior is decorated in warm, worn colours – rather in American style. The rooms are usually equipped with low-floor carpets. We sat with a group of perhaps 40 people at very bright and friendly covered large round tables in comfortable free swings. To the flawless white tablecloth there were red napkins as eye-catcher and discreet table decoration. We were able to work on the buffet that awaits all warm and cold specialties from a raised brunch. It was self-service. The routes are generous, nowhere is it narrow or difficult to access. On a well placed full coffee machine you can choose among the usual coffee specialities: coffee cream, espresso, cappuccino etc. Despite the otherwise very appealing and friendly dishes, the somewhat loaded, rather heavy cappuccinates were unpleasant to me. Also the cereal bowls were almost too large and massive considering that you have to transport your own food to the table. Among the hot dishes I chose a fine, not too dry scrambled egg to which I took freshly cut parsley. In addition, warm mushrooms and very tasty little pancakes that can be picked up with a sweet coat (diverse marmalades, various dry fruits, almond leaves etc. or with a stingy coat. The crisp sausages (so on mustard or ketchup in portion bag I did not try, but they looked delicious on the plates of my table neighbors. I also found particularly large ayuervedic bonds with warm muesli and fruit as well as small Actimel bottles that were taken by the health-conscious as dessertersatz. Wonderfully fresh also the arrangement of tomatoes with mozzarella in balsamicosauce, the crisp cucumber slices, the aromatic black olives, the wide range of different sausage slices and cheese. There is absolute cleanliness on the counters, no place to spot or sticker. If something goes off, it will be set up immediately. This works very quickly and reliably, as the kitchen is right next to it and the staff reacts at a glance and speed. Also used at tables dishes are quickly removed. As a small maneuver, I can only say that the already finished welcome coffee waiting for us in Thermospots was quite mischievous and rather cold to lukewarm. You should have done something closer. The Mercure Böblingen is very well suited for business appointments, business dinners, conferences and conferences – with international audiences. It is conveniently located and offers well-known standards that are also known from other destinations."
