100 Montaditos Conde De Altea

This is a chain restaurant that you can find in many cities in Spain. They offer small bocadillos (sandwiches) for between 1 and 2 euros each and most drinks arealso 1 to 2 euros. They have a special on Sundays and Wednesdays where all bocadillos are 1 euro each. Simple but good food that helps you stretch your budget. may want to google the English menu first as they list 100 different bocadillos and you mark a menu card with the number and quantity of bocadillos you want.

Visiting Canovas neighborhood we walked past this bar that had a few people sat outside and fairly busy inside. We fancied a beer so gave it a go. 1.5 pints and a very large tube of crips and I spent 3.5e. Could not believe it. Funny vibe and any of little snacks (montaditos) are all really tasty cheap.

A great selection of small baguettes to pick from. A wide variety of meat, vegetables, salsas and appetizers. Each baguette has a number and you fill out a small paper indicating which of the baguettes you want and how many. Easy and fast.

A fast food chain in Valencia. On a Wednesday or a Sunday all the sandwiches and snacks are only 1€. A cheap and cheerful popular place, you will be lucky to get served on these nights so be patient.
