One of the male employees even suggested that I go to a different nearby restaurant to get a fork. I pointed out that it's unreasonable for a restaurant to serve salads without forks. A younger employee then apologized and offered either coupons or a refund. With other customers waiting and the time getting late, we decided to have them box up the salad and pizza so we could take them back to our hotel where we could find utensils. As we were preparing to leave, the young employee asked if I wanted a new salad and if he should refund me, considering I was taking it. While they huddled together to decide what to do next, I waved goodbye and said not to worry about the refund. We headed back...
Good luck with this place. If you manage to find out that they are open for the day, the pizza can be excellent—assuming the pizza maker is in a good mood. Today, I ordered some cinnamon sticks with my to-go order and was eager to try them. However, I was disappointed to find that they mixed up the salt and sugar, making them inedible. I tried to call to warn them so they could prevent this from happening to other customers, but no one answered the phone. It seems like the owner either doesn't care about making a profit or is completely unaware of how poorly things are being managed by the staff. As I said, good luck with this place! When they are open, the restaurant is quite good, though it can be a bit slow. The staff is always friendly, and the food is fresh. However, my custom orders aren’t always made correctly, even when I see them circling the correct ingredients on the ticket. Unfortunately, they have had a sign on the door for over three weeks indicating they are closed due to a staffing shortage. Originally, the sign mentioned they would reopen on August 6, then it changed to August 13, and later to August 20. But now, a week past their last stated reopening date, that sign is still there! At this point, I’m beginning to doubt whether they will actually reopen at all.
The pizzas were fantastic, and I really appreciated the freshness of all the ingredients. The staff was extremely friendly and attentive, and our pizzas were prepared promptly and served hot from the brick oven. The only downside was their unusual hours. The pizza was good considering what they had available, but there were signs indicating they were out of half the menu. I received my pizza 10 minutes before my boyfriend got his, so we weren't able to eat together properly. They ran out of food and put up a 'closed' sign due to a supply shortage at 8:00 PM on a Friday night.
