Holy Where Have You Been All My Life, Batman? The answer is a few minutes drive from my folk 's when it comes to my new favorite coffee shop. 2 Alices Coffee is a mere 6 minutes from my parent 's house in New Windsor, on a quiet road away from it all. The interior is cute and open with walls lined with work from local artists and quality products churned out by the rad staff behind the counter. unpopular opinion (especially for this area): we have not taken care of this place. we found the baristas unwilling. they were willing to help the person behind us. when we said we hadn't ordered yet, said the barista, the line usually starts here. there was no sign or someone who let us know. we have ordered and said thank you. barista didn't say anything. we found the coffee. more than anything. not for us. edit: this was our experience. most places that practice customer service can tell whether busy or not. this place does not practice him.
They enjoyed a fabulous oat milk café au lait and were thrilled to find tofu cream cheese to accompany their excellent selection of bagels. They had a nice chat with the employees, who were very knowledgeable about vegan options. They learned that the gazpacho was vegan that day and that many of their daily specials are vegan as well. They plan to stop back to enjoy one of their toasts, many of which are vegan. Unlike Nizza, where there are limited vegan options, this restaurant offers a variety of vegan choices. My family frequents this coffee shop and even with new competitors in the area the baristas still want to be rude. One girl taking my dads order mocked his Bronx accent and announced the way he said butter multiple times loudly. Pretty disgusting if you ask me. My parents are very kind and have been living in Orange County for 30yrs and they are close to 70 now.
funky fabulous shop that I definitely visit again. I had the cheek soup and lentil soup and the spinat feta quiche were both fresh and tasted really homemade. I also had an ice vanilla green tea and it was the best icy I ever had (seriously). a definitive stop for me.
