The crew at the shop were very nice to my wife and I and made us feel accommodated and appreciated for our travel to their restaurant. It feels like a hidden gem in the heart of Altoona and I liked the Altoona style Sicilian. It is not the greatest pizza but it is very good and different. A pizza critic needs to come check it and have a good time with the local flavor slice. My only regret is not trying one of the hoagies there. Good job guys at 29th St!
Super nice staff, always smiles and says hi to their customers, nice inviting atmosphere And they're the only place I love to go to for their grilled chicken salads They pack them pretty full and give enough dressing which is something I struggled with at other restaurants in the past. We always try to order from them when we're in the mood for a super filling dinner
The WORST PIZZA ever. Ordered 2 pies for delivery. Small white pizza with no tomatoes and peppers, just sausage and garlic. Received peppers and tomatoes and no garlic. Ordered large sausage pie with light sauce and garlic, crisp. Received limp pie, no garlic. Even the toaster oven couldn't crisp it up. Bad afternoon? Not sure but no more chances.
