5 Hermanos - Réservation de table

Ordered via Ubereats. Although 5 Hermanos is not that far from our home, we've never tried them before. So glad for Ubereats and yelp to have helped us decide on trying g this place out. We were pleasantly surprise that the food was pretty good. Although it's not like the food we just had in Mexico, but it's for sure better than a lot of places I've tried in Washington. We also had large portions. The flan was actually the best dish. I think I would've given 4 stars if everything had more seasoning. Most of the dishes needed salt, and spices. This place was maybe more Americanized for the local palate. My gringo husband needed lots of salt, and spicy . I'm not into spicy so I was fine. I did...

I have been coming to this restaurant for 5 years, and recently dined with a group of 7 people that included 2 young children under the age of 2. Each person paid separately, and a mandatory 18% tip was automatically added to each receipt. I was surprised and felt it was rude that they did not inform us about this policy for groups larger than 7. I always tip generously, but this experience left a bad taste in my mouth. It seemed to me that they were just interested in money, so I have decided I will not be returning to eat at this restaurant again.

The potato taco was delicious! The tortillas are freshly fried and the mashed potatoes are perfectly seasoned. My husband enjoyed his Taquitos Rancheros as well. We especially loved the Sopapillas that came with caramel and chocolate dipping sauces. The small order of chips was enough for our group of 3, but we ended up getting the large bag as well, which was too much. The 16 oz side of salsa was very authentic, but I wish they offered a smaller size in the future because 16 oz was too much.

The macho burrito is incredibly large! I was surprised by the generous portion for the price. It's a great deal. I highly recommend the chicken filling, it was absolutely delicious. The burrito had ample chicken, just the right amount of rice and beans, and the sauce was tasty. Réservez une table maintenant

This place serves quality, authentic, Mexican food. Middle-high prices, but they are consistent and reliable. So far everything I've had has been good or better. This is the place that taught me to like Mexican food.

Good customer service. Friendly, bilingual staff. Excellent food and quality fresh. Has lunch specials. Beautiful murals. Has a jukebox to play my favorite songs.
