Having heard good reviews, my wife and I and another couple made early evening reservations for this past Saturday night. All of us were very disappointed. The service was good, but that is where the positives stop. We ordered drinks with two of us ordering gin and tonic. They had to be sent back three times before the bartender realized that the tonic water dispenser was not working. Three of us had lobster bisque which was ok but nothing special. It could have used more vegetables, lobster, seasoning and heavy cream. In other words, flavor. My wife had mussels which had some garlic but not much taste. This cozy restaurant has a Californian vibe and is perfect for a date or a work meeting. I highly recommend trying the ceviche as an appetizer, it was delicious. The spicy chicken burger is also very tasty and comes in a decent size, with various side options (I personally love the sweet potato fries). The cocktail menu is impressive as well, with margaritas and palomas that won't disappoint. If possible, try to sit outside for a great atmosphere.
Our favorite go-to spot when we're in town visiting my sister! The owners are always amazing and accommodating and their staff is always super friendly! Love the raspberry lemon drop martinis. Just have the tortellini the other night! So creamy and delicious. I shouldn't have had it all but I couldn't help myself! Potsticker and spring roll appetizers are super delicious!
The greenhouse experience was ADORABLE! We hosted some friends from California at 501 in the greenhouse, and our friends were so excited to eat outside in the winter right after it snowed. The food was delicious. The service was excellent. We appreciated the COVID protocols and the care taken to offer guests a great experience. Definitely recommend!

Not one to write reviews usually, but such a poor experience warrants one this time. The service was laughable and felt as if the staff forgot about us. They blamed it on a big party inside. Dinner for two took 2+ hours and food came cold. Separate from the service, it’s expensive for the quality of food. Wouldn’t recommend to friends/family.
What a wonderful experience this was our first time eating here and from our delightful waitress Colleen to meeting you very gracious owner Mark we had a great experience. The food was fresh hot tasty and flavorful the drinks were done very well and the dining room has a wonderful vibe. Will definitely repeat
an upscale neighboring restaurant, had a wood panel with many pieces of sushi in a row order, plentiful for two. many other menu features to choose from. do not miss the outside terrace! Service staff concentrated on providing wonderful service, very friendly and accommodating.
I really liked 501local. I had the Putanesca special and it was very good. Tables are a little crowded and it's loud but fun atmosphere. Great cocktail. Looking forward to going back
