Sophia Steak - Réservation de table

On two occasions, I ordered a medium rare Delmonico Ribeye steak and was served it blue rare instead. The first time, it upset my stomach all night and into the next day. The second time, I had to cook it myself in my home oven to bring it up to medium rare, which compromised the flavor. I called the restaurant while cooking the steak, but the hostess I spoke with did not offer any form of compensation or even an apology. I also tried their Lobster Shishito appetizer. The first time it was fantastic, but the second time, a few months later, it was disappointing—the batter was so thick that there was more batter than lobster meat, with some bites containing only batter. I had the pleasure of dining here for dinner, and it was an exceptional experience. The meal was outstanding, deserving a perfect rating of 5 for the food. Each dish was beautifully presented and bursting with flavor. The service was equally impressive, also earning a 5; the staff was attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable about the menu. The atmosphere, too, was top-notch, creating a warm and inviting setting for our meal, which is why it also receives a 5. Overall, I highly recommend this restaurant for a delightful dining experience, with prices ranging from $50 to $100 per person.

Annette at the front of house was dedicated to making sure my family got a great table. It was so refreshing to see someone at such a swanky, popular restaurant be so down to earth. We had the best night and it’s truly all thanks to Annette’s kindness and efforts! I really wish I had dined outside. The interior was nice, but with such a beautiful night and the lights, it would have been perfect. The food and service were fantastic!

We love Sonia Steak and highly recommend. The food is great and the people are even better! My wife loves the Tuna Tataki and I love the halibut!
