One employee was let go from the downtown location for time theft but is still employed at the Evanston branch. Additionally, the restaurant manager in Evanston was involved in an inappropriate relationship with a female coworker, who was the assistant manager. When their relationship ended, she was terminated. Overall, the management and ownership of this restaurant are unprofessional and a real disappointment.
The staff, including the owner, cashiers, and busboys, are all incredibly friendly. The food, ranging from full meals to large desserts and small bites, is fantastic. I need to keep an eye on my blood sugar, and I was pleased to find that the bite-sized desserts, packed with flavor, let me indulge without feeling guilty.
Nice little place for breakfast. I had the midwest omelette with a side of French toast. My wife had the sweet potato curry hash plus a stuffed of corned beef hash. It was all excellent. Plus the OJ was top notch. Definitely fresh. You can't go wrong coming here!
Loved the atmosphere. Cute place with lots of room for lounge seating. The food was amazing and delivered quite quickly. Loved the vegan pesto avocado toast, sweet potato soup and the chocolate croissant. Will visit again for sure. Réservez une table maintenant
Food is great, service is good. Place needs extra seating area... I just don't like the idea of eating breakfast on a couch/sofa with family. I think.it should have been common sense last time I was there with my two toddlers.
Everything about this place is fantastic! The brunch offerings are the best in town, the atmosphere is lively and inviting, and the staff is非常 friendly! I highly recommend it!
Best Coffee in the Chicago area. Organic imports from Greece and professionally trained baristas. Food is exceptional quality too.
The chai tea latte was disappointing, but I really enjoyed the smoothie I ordered, and my husband loved his croissant. Réservez une table maintenant
