The Best Mangal on Fulham Road is a real hidden gem, the kebabs and salads are fantastic, doubt about it all being cooked fresh as you can see everything being prepared by the chefs on the way in. The staff are extremely attentive but not overly in your face , I 'm considered a regular but this is only on a 3 weekly basis, the staff know our order (boring that we don 't change I know) and start preparing as soon as we 're seated. The ambience in the restaurant is pleasant and very clean throughout. It 's very popular so I would advise booking a table and also check whether Chelsea FC are playing at home when it 's heaving! We live nearby and we often go for a late dinner either eating in or taking it away. The staff is friendly and competent, always happy to advise occasional customers who are not familiar with their food. There are several vegetarian options from veggie burgers, to falafel and spring rolls, all homemade (we have tried them! . The kebabs, shawarma and meat based dishes are freshly prepared and are definitely the best around. If you eat in, the portions are generous and one can struggle to finish them, if you take the food away, the staff ensures everything is packed with care. The place is clean and there is a friendly atmosphere which makes it very enjoyable. The food is definitely good value...
I have been going regularly but find the salad is limp and brown now. The chips are raw. The quality of the chicken is not as good as it used to be. The portions I ask for are always given smaller than I ask and pay for and there’s now never any bread. Intop of it all they prioritise certain groups eg builders and I’m waiting up to 30 mins for the same order as them. I keep telling them that the order has been missing items and for them to double check each time but it’s constant. I paid £15 for the same order minus bread that a builder in the queue paid about £6.90 for. I went straight back but was told I got a coke for £5 ?!?! We are now no longer going there.
Food is tasty but they talk a lot in there own language a lot when they portion there food. They used to give a generous portion now it’s not the same. If you eat in they are fantastic but take out they change the portions sizes. Feel disappointed but hey. I’ve started going elsewhere. I usually go for 3 combination’s but then they start giving lower portions. They think there clever. Réservez une table maintenant
We’ve come across this place by chance on Uber Eats around year ago and have come back ever since. They do by far the nicest doners and kebabs we’ve ever had, generous portions and great quality meat and consistently good every single time. Incredible food and such good value for money too.
