This 7-11 has the reputation as the worst 7-11 on the route 110 corridor for a reason. They do NOT honor posted prices. Posted prices are arbitrary, and merely put up for guidance. Actual prices are likely higher. I know this because on one fine evening,I frequented this 7-11 with the goal of purchasing a coffee roll, which had a posted price of 1.89. I went to checkout the roll,and it rang up as 1.99. I politely informed the clerk that it was actually 1.89. He called me a liar and said the system saysit's 1.99. I dropped by to pick up a slushy and some gum, and I was pleasantly surprised to see a nod to *Clerks* with the sign that read, "I assure you, we are open." It's fantastic to see employees making the best of a challenging situation—kudos to the Kevin Smith fans here! Overall, it really brightened my day, and I truly appreciate the extra effort. Everything else went smoothly; I was in and out without any problems, though I did experience the usual brain freeze that comes with enjoying a slushy. I'm really frustrated with the cashier who wears an NYPD hat and always seems so unhappy. It’s evident that he relies on that hat as a sort of comfort for his serious attitude. I've made an effort to be friendly and polite to him over the years, but I find myself visiting this place less frequently because there are other 7-11 cashiers nearby who actually make you feel welcome. I'm not asking for much—if you want to be a community store, remember that you're part of the community. This guy feels like the village Eeyore.

The night time employee is very unprofessional. He doesn't respond if you try to make small talk, and it's not bc of a language barrier, he speaks English well. Never smiles, not courteous, and on more than 1 occasion has been down right rude and nasty. I have watched him do the same thing to other customers so it's not just me.
