While the food was pleasant we were furious at the pricing. My husband ordered the pork belly as a main but we got the entree size that was being served for Yum Cha despite them clarifying the size we wanted. They still charged us main price, My brother ordered fish and they did not have the fish he ordered so they said they would have to change it to Barramundi. At no time did they discuss that this fish would cost us $110 dollars. The account said we had 2 serves and they argued that this was because it weighed in at 2 pounds which was absolute nonsense!And to cap it all they had an exhorbitant surcharge added in.I will never eat their again and will ensure no of my friends or family do at...
Food is fair to good compared to other Northbridge Chinese restaurants. Good variety of dim sum but I feel the size is bigger than a standard dim sum place which is good and bad. Good you might get your money's worth but bad as it seems on the not so petite size for a dim sum.Price: high to expensive as it is easily $1 per serve above the other restaurants standard serve.Ambience: good for family outing or business setting as there are many tables and not crowded even on Sunday. The swan river view is pleasant and refreshing.Parking: plenty at point Fraser $4 per hour.Overall rating: 3/5.
Being reviewed as one top modern and refined chinese restaurant, no doubt the steamed dimsums were excellent. However I came rather at wrong time, Sunday afternoon when the customers were just supercrowded. People came and went non stop. The staffs were confused, order of tea and still water came only after reminded a few times. The fried dimsum were cold and no longer crispy. Turnip XO sauce was not up to the expectation. Fried hofan with beef was delicious. My sense told me to avoid weekends next time to truly enjoy the food.
Went on a weekday, food was good, service was good, location is lovely but you are paying for the location and the more upmarket venue. It costs $4/hr to park and the price of dim sum is higher than you would pay elsewhere.The food is just as good as some other Perth dim sum restaurants so I'll return to our local but I would come back to "8 on the point" for lunch or dinner if the opportunity arose. I assume they have higher rents in this location so I don't begrudge their higher prices.

Visited here for a business meeting. Had a party of 6 so plants opportunity to share. The Peking Duck was served with the meat attached to the skin as opposed to the meat being served as a side dish. The fees fish in spring onion and ginger was pretty tasteless. The salt and pepper ribs were deep fried to a crisp- the schezwan beef and gal lan were "ok" as was the yeoung Chow fan. The servers were immaculate but would not go back for Chinese food
What an excellent location and beautifully presented modern Chinese restaurant. Options a plenty for lunch and dinner. Great menu with good wine choices. The staff are clearly well versed in presenting the restaurant with style. The mood feels great. Plenty of atmosphere especially the fresh seafood tank.I really enjoyed my dinner and have nothing but praise for a great night. Your first visit will not be the last.
The restaurant is new and well designed. They have circular sofas in front of the river view. Parking is nearby but not free. Food are great, especially the duck bun. There are more variety of dim sum in this posh restaurant than others. We paid 82 dollars for 3 people. Usually it costs around 60 dollars in Northbridge. But I am happy to try new food. So...have a go but do not order too many dishes.
A party of 12 over 2 tables had mid AM Dim Sum resulting in nothing but praise for the experience. The food was excellent with some unique dim sum choices. The ambience was wonderful Even though it was mid week when we left at lunchtime it was full with a queue waiting eagerly

This is a good addition to the river restaurant options. Easy to get to with a great location. Trolleys need to circulate more as some dishes were cold. Staff were helpful. Good idea to book as it fills quickly.
Very disappointed on the standard of the food. Seriously I expected better quality from this restaurant. The dumpling skin is so thick. First and last visit. Service is bad too.
