Took my brother to 901 for lunch today,to celebrate his very special birthday. I secretly informed the staff that it was his birthday. Wow all three staff members treated both of us better than royalty. The food was great like always. However once our lunch was completed, the three staff members on duty,including the awesome owner came out with a small birthday cake and sang a spirited version of Happy Birthday for my brother. To be treated so specially and unexpectedly certainly made my brother's day. All three wonderful servers then posed for pictures with my brother,and took some of him and me together. Absolutely amazing! I have dined at a lot of places over the years that this was by far the best meal I've ever had in a restaurant and that's saying a lot cause I have been a cook for years and take my food very seriously. I have traveled to many, many places all over the US and other countries and dined at a lot of very high end places. I am blown away by 901 Westside. I will recommend this place to everyone I know. I like to eat out but if I can make a better meal at home, I often feel disappointed. Not this time. Not disappointed at all. Best place to dine in Kenora/Keewatin. Service was great! Atmosphere is very comfortable. Blown away by the flavours!
Brenda and her team at 901 Westside recently catered our August 2017 outdoor wedding in Kenora. The food, service and overall experience 901 provided was exceptional. Brenda introduced us to many of her restaurant favourite dishes while incorporating our ideas into the dinner as well. The food turned out to be one of the highlights of the evening. Brenda made the long distance planning and execution of our big day a breeze. Kudos to her staff for their flexibility and great service. Highly recommended!
901 Westside catered my wedding at a cottage in Lake of the Woods. Friends had recommended it, and we were not let down! They were great to work with! They quick to respond to emails and answered questions thoroughly. For the event they were on time, food was hot and servers were very courteous. Our guests even commented on how good the food was! We have always enjoyed each meal we have had there soo fresh delicious. The service is always very personable. Brenda stops by the tables to check on each of her customers. We are repeat clientele for the above reasons. Love the salmon, and steaks there. Highly Recommend .
One of my absolute favourite place to eat!! They have a lot of vegetarian options. Their service is amazing! They're usually busy, but that doesn't hinder their ability to make sure your meal is the best it can be. I'd say I'd go back, but I already have multiple times. :
Had the most delicious dinner here last night. The menu has so many amazing options, it was hard to choose. The restaurant was packed all evening and even though the staff were run off their feet they all remained friendly and the service top notch! Can’t wait to go back
901 Westside has an amazing menu of fabulous food. They are always full at lunch time and I recommend making a reservation. Renovations were done over the winter and we love the new look. This is a world class restaurant tucked away in northwestern Ontario. Réservez une table maintenant
