On Saturday night my husband and I went to 99 bar and grill for our date night out. While our server Justin was awesome very nice and did an amazing job. I did notice everything around. All the staff works extremely hard check on customers asking how everything is going making sure people have drinks popcorn they for there butts off. How The restaurant Manger he works hard too. They gave me a 25 minute window pick up time after ordering online, we didn't get our food until 15 minutes later, after I called from the curbside pickup spot. Then, i checked my order and they left out the 2 sides in my dinner. I went back in to sit and wait for someone to come to the front since no one was there. The guy had an attitude and never even apologized for, forgetting the 2 sides. I told him this was the 3rd time, I've had them leave stuff out or get the order wrong. I was pleasantly surprised but at the same time did not appreciate having pieces of shell and the plastic clear part of the lobster in my roll. Nothing happened thankfully caught the pieces before eating. It's part of the creature but a little more care or better inspection before it reaches the consumer goes a long way. I enjoyed the flavor and had the drawn butter which is my suggestion for the lobster roll. The stuffed clam appetizer was very flavorful. We called ahead for 12 people, most over 80. coming at 3:45. We all meet there, first they make us wait outside telling us our server wasn 't in til 4. Then when I go to talk someone they say, we don 't take reservations. OK, so why make us sit outside then when only 2 tables were other customers? And the woman I was helping get in is 89 she asked where we were being seated, and the woman standing at the register rolls her eyes and makes a nodding direction action. Then there they wanted us to sit in a booth with the divider down only big enough for 8 people!! We gave you a week 's notice saying we were coming. And the food? Don 't get me started. This was our first visit since before the COVID pandemic, and we used to come here often. Our waitress was very friendly and attentive. I ordered the sirloin tips, which I always used to get. I requested them well done, but they arrived medium rare. Additionally, the tips were fattier than I remembered. I had to send them back to the kitchen for further cooking. Overall, the restaurant hasn't changed much over the past few years. They still offer free popcorn, and young kids receive crayons and a coloring activity sheet. The service was very good, but the food wasn't quite as impressive as I recalled.

So much good food here! I loved it! I got a grilled cheese and my kid got a kids grilled cheese! There's some good GF and DB stuff here as well.
As good as 99 can be. The food was very good. The service was polite, quick and precise. We enjoyed our food and had a good time.

Best sit down chain restaurant in Kingston. Super nice staff, popcorn, great burgers, frosty mugs of beer. Always enjoy my time.
