À La Belle Saison

It’s difficult to find words to explain how special this dinner was. The owner (and chef) is an absolutely lovely person, passionate about her products and her food. Everything is locally sourced and fresh. She takes the time to explain every single dish individually and it is apparent from the first moment that she puts an inordinate amount of care and attention into each dish. The principle of the restaurant is that the owner buys fresh products once a week and based on what she has and what she can source, she creates her menu. Therefore the menu changes weekly, which certainly guarantees a unique experience each time.

La Belle Saison is best kept secret of Nimes. The food, the atmosphere and the service gives you a feel you are not at the restaurant but at someone’s home kitchen being very welcomed and being treated with amazing cuisine and fantastic service. We had a great time with friends at this beautiful place in old town of Nimes. Highly recommended.
