My wife and I had the Menu du Moment (at 19 euros 50 and we were both delighted. As other reviewers have pointed out, the building itself and the dining room cannot be described as charmant , but my wife immediately pointed out the high quality of the tableware glasses, cutlery, linen etc. The service was impeccable, professional, friendly and unobtrusive. My wife had the moules marinières (which were rock mussels, not farmed ones the best she has ever had. My starter was the salade aveyronaise perfectly balanced, very tasty. Nous avons eu l’occasion en famille de dîner dans ce charmant village de Bozouls, et nous nous sommes dirigés vers La Route d’Argent car peu de restaurant étaient ouverts dans le quartier. La nourriture était bonne avec des produits locaux et une cuisine parfaite (foie gras, veau, poisson local) MAIS le service était horrible : nous avons attendu longtemps nos différents plats et sans aucune aide du personnel. Une seule jeune serveuse assurait tout le service pour tout le restaurant tandis que ses collègues discutaient avec les clients locaux, au lieu de s'occuper des tables. Ayant passé plus de 11 ans à la retraite ici dans l'Aveyron, mon mari et moi-même nous attendons à un certain niveau de cuisine et de service dans les restaurants que nous fréquentons. A La Route d'Argent, le premier a répondu à nos attentes ; ce dernier n’était pas tout à fait à la hauteur. La nourriture était délicieuse en termes de qualité, de préparation et de présentation. Nous n'avons aucune critique à formuler dans ce domaine. Toutefois, cette dernière doit être améliorée. We spent a night in the hotel for a short anniversary getaway, and booked dinner in the restaurant, although we also considered booking a table at the Michelin starred restaurant nearby. I’m so glad we didn’t! We couldn’t have enjoyed our meal more, and at a fraction of the price! We were slightly worried we might be alone in the dining room as we were the first to arrive at 7.30, but within an hour the place was full and buzzing and it’s clear why! Delicious food, great value and friendly efficient service too. Highly recommended!

We were desperately looking for a place to have diner with 8 persons ar 8:30 PM. We were welcomed very warm and they made a table for us. At that point we did not know we where heading for a fantastic meal. Service was really friendly and the food was really good (their Confit de canard is to die for! .
