The food is always delicious here! From salads to pastas, pizzas and their special fried chicken, it’s always spot on.For a while the service was spotty. We would come in and have excellent service and the next time it almost felt like they pulled someone in off the streets to serve us. Just not consistent, which can make or break a dining experience. A great place in Hayes Valley for a nice ish dinner. The stand out dishes here are easily the pizzas. The pastas I think you can find better elsewhere (if i'm just going to be blunt).We got:1. I visited this restaurant when it first opened, and back then, the wait times were quite lengthy. Thankfully, you can now add your name to the waitlist on Yelp, which makes things much easier. I waited at the bar for my dining companion since they only seat you when everyone has arrived. There are both indoor and outdoor seating options available. Absolutely fantastic. Came at a very weird hour between lunch and dinner and the menu is smaller (about three pasta selections), but so much care was devoted to the dish. A lot of parm which I loveeee. Umami with citrus was so innovative and fun. Also perfect temperature weird to note but you know when you get pasta that’s just toooo hot? No, they’ve mastered it. The pasta and food are absolutely incredible! A Mano also boasts a wide and reasonably priced selection of Italian wines. The staff provided tailored recommendations based on our taste preferences without pushing for more expensive drinks, which I truly appreciated. The service was impeccable as well. I will definitely be returning and bringing friends with me.

We were a couple looking for a quick late lunch on a sunny day. Sat outside and ordered the cauliflower appetizer, focaccia, and pizza. Were all delicious. Service was good. Bathrooms were clean. Can’t ask for more.
The food was outstanding, especially the tuna crudo, which was particularly impressive.
