We headed to A Mano for a Friday night catch up with friends. Lucky we had a reservation, because the place was packed. The food, as always, was great two of us tried new/pizza of the day offerings: if you find the smoked salmon pizza on the menu, ORDER IT. It was amazing. The service, though, was a little haphazard we seemed to have about three people checking in on us, leaving us unsure as to whom we should be giving our orders or requests. Better than NOT having someone waiting on us, but it got a little chaotic and disruptive of our meal. With pizza this good though, I'll keep going back.
La nourriture et le service sont toujours un peu un jet de dés et cette fois, il est venu au craps. Il y a aussi quelque chose de vraiment ombragé à surveiller. Lorsque vous recevez le chèque, il y a trois lignes qui vous indiquent ce que serait un et un pourboire. Seuls les chiffres sont loin. Le conseil est vraiment et le conseil est vraiment plus proche de je ne sais pas si c'était intentionnel ou fait exprès, mais si vous utilisez leurs directives, vous vous arnaquez. Appelez-les dessus
The food and service is always a bit of a dice roll and this time it came up craps. There is also something really shady diners need to watch out for. When you get the check, there are three lines that tell you what a 15%, 18% and 20% tip would be. Only the numbers are WAY off. The 15% tip is really 20% and the 20% tip is really closer to 30%!!!! I don't know if this was intentional or done on purpose, but if you use their guidelines you are ripping yourself off. Call them on it!
I visited the restaurant at night, an hour and a half before they closed, and the service was really upsetting. They gave me a leaking water jug which broke and resulted in my pants, shirt, purse, and whole table to be soaked. There was not even an apology. In addition, they were impatient with our ordering. We are closing the kitchen so if you want something other than pizza then order it now. My soaking pants and the impatient waiter made for an upsetting night.

Pizza and salads were excellent. We had to wait to be seated for 15 minutes although we had reservations. We also waited a long time before the waiters came to get our orders. There was long period of time between our salads and pizzas we had to ask several times where our pizzas were, people that arrived after us left before us, we were only 4, and the fact that they cannot manage which order comes first that's a problem. It's a shame because the food is good.
Great lasagna Waiter lacked any personality but then I went for the food not him. Ambience is lacking if you're looking for a dining experience. It's a pizza place that serves great lasagna and broccoli rabe with sausage and those little noodles that look like ears : I'd go back in a heart beat for the lasagna. Give it a try.
The service was better then the food. We were a little disappointed The pizza crust was soggy underneath. The pasta dish was bland. The ravioli cheese wasn't good and the chicken parm was mushy. The meatballs and calamari for app were decent. And my daughter enjoyed the Nutella pie for dessert, but that was it.
We regularly go to A Mano for the pizza. It's hard to find good pizza in NJ, strangely enough. You won't go wrong here. Only negative is that it's a bit pricey. Service can be spotty even when the place is empty but this time around it was very good. In all. I still recommend.

Very accommodating. Loved the gluten free pizza! Looking forward to more gluten free options in the future . Will be returning and recommending to my friends.
A Mano is an upscale pizza restaurant with great pasta. Pizza crust is delicious, service was wonderful! Can't wait to go back.
