A Stone's Throw Pub & Grill

A great restaurant. I highly recommend it! I don't often do reviews but I was so impressed I had to do one. I ordered the vegetarian burger and asked if I could replace the feta cheese with avocado. I don't eat cheese and love avocado. They were absolutely fine with that which made the burger amazing. I have been to other restaurants that refuse to substitute without charging extra. The waitress was really friendly, and the food was great, and the price was very reasonable which is much more important these days. I would go again for sure!Vegetarian options: I had the meatless burger and fries which was great.

Great food, great prices for what you get. Party of 4 tonight and 8 thumbs up (3x teriyaki chicken stir fry, 1 chicken curry). It's a sports bar/pub, and it's louder and has that kind of atmosphere. It's not an intimate dining experience, which is fine. It's one of our go-to restaurants in Bowmanville, and the out-of-town guests enjoyed it tonight as well.

Food was excellent but my Curry was cool. The waitress said it couldn't be as she brought it out hot but that wasn't the case, the manager came by and took it to be heated, it was a little better. I just like my food hot. If it's put onto a cold plate then it's cool when it arrives. The taste of the curry was really great. We will definitely return.

Ordered here a few times, but it’s now been the second time ordering take out and it was completely wrong. Didn’t offer to fix my order, just told me to contact skip the dishes to dispute the order. Disappointing.

It is a great place to stop in for a bite to eat and watch the game! The food was good and the service was great. It's got a great pub atmosphere and the staff was courteous.

Been there twice recently. Pub food and drinks. Menu is good for a pub. Coconut shrimp are great. Prices are very reasonable. Within walking distance to Holiday Comfort inn.

I had chicken souvlaki and I loved it. I also tried the pizza and the sauce was delicious.
