I purchased the jerk chicken. It wasn't fully cooked. The meat was tough. The jerk sauce was a spicy gravy, not jerk sauce. The plantains seemed like the frozen microwavable ones. They were not freshly cooked and they told me they were cooking them as I waited. That was not their best work. They normally have better days. Prices increased ridiculously. The guy who took my order was very friendly. The staff is always nice.
I strongly advise against dining at this restaurant. Save yourself the disappointment! The food portions are incredibly lacking. Instead of a balanced meal, you get clumps of peppers and potatoes with just a few small pieces of meat scattered throughout. It's like searching for buried treasure just to find the meat!
Everything was quite good! I ordered two platters: the curry goat and the oxtails with rice and beans. The aroma was AMAZING, and everything was served hot, fresh, and clean. However, the only downside was that it wasn’t spicy at all! There was absolutely no heat, which left me feeling a bit underwhelmed.
Poor customer service and even poorer food. Absolutely disgusting food. If you are Caribbean you will absolutely be disappointed with the food here. Even the beef patty nuh ready yet. The curry chicken wasn't high on the list as far as being good. It was after 7:30pm on a Thursday, so I'm glad they were open, but the food didn't taste fresh. The guy was nice, the food was good enough and the small platter had enough food for $10.
They should be ashamed to call what they sell J chicken. It tasted like rotisserie with a spicy sauce, no real j flavor, or any hint of traditional Jamaican spices. Customer service and ambience is just as bad as the chicken .
They NEVER answer the phone. When they finally did, it felt really suspicious. How do they expect to make any money this way? It seems like there might be something else going on... it’s so unprofessional.
I got the Curry Chicken, and other than those dumpling things and them not having any more plantains, I really enjoyed it ?. Plus, their prices are nice?! Réservez une table maintenant
