I have to say my family and I were very disappointed with our recent trip to taste of Britain. This is a place we always love going to. However, since I made the reservation way in advance I was not aware of the pre fixed winter wonderland menu. We still tried to make the most of it and even asked if we could substitute for the sandwich flavors we love but we were told this wasn’t possible. We ended up not eating most of the food that was brought to us mostly because it was not good in general (dry/hard scones, tough meatballs, and food that did not look appetizing). Then to find out it was $54 per person was additionally upsetting since we definitely did not get a great experience from this...
Everything was absolutely perfect. Christmas Tea has been a tradition my Mother started, we have been to good and not so good Teas. The service was wonderful, fantastic choices of teas, sandwiches were delicious, very tasty. The scones were to perfection, could not have been better, deserts, well! We had to take home, we were so full. They were also delicious! We will be back! Our waiter was also delightful. He said, I only bring things out to you, I said yes but if everything was wonderful and you were miserable, it changes the whole tea experience! You are just as important as what is served! (They have a lovely shop to browse before or after)
I was worried about the negative reviews on the Winter Wonderland Tea Menu, but it is actually quite good! They were able to replace the chocolate orange scone with the regular chocolate chip scone for me. Much appreciated! They offered many loose tea selections and the waiter stopped by every now and then to refill hot water. The savory bites and sweets they offered here $54/person) are of higher quality and more delicate than those of the Dandelion $30/person, I wrote a review there as well). Plus, they offered one additional appetizer that was not on the menu. You got what you paid for. Would consider to revisit this place.
Excellent customer experience. Food was great, staff very attentive to our table. They had themed deserts on the Afternoon Tea tiered trays. The themed desserts made us so happy! There was a monster macaroon, and a ghost cake. This place never disappoints. Tea is always fresh, scones are always tasty and different flavors. Great place for friends to meet or family to connect.

Nice overpriced afternoon tea! It's a good experience for the Holidays, their selection of small bites and scones and sweets is decent and the staff is professional and friendly, that's it. Pretty basic for the money you're charged. I've already tried and don't think will be back there anytime soon.
I’ve been attending this restaurant for many years probably since the late 90s and this most recent visit was excellent I think they have improved in their overall quality and the service was impeccable. Their tea sandwiches are phenomenal as is their scones!
What a fabulous experience having afternoon tea. The food is very good but the truffles with royal treatment are something sent from heaven. Tea is always brewed perfectly and service is great. Kirsty went above and beyond to accommodate us.
I love meeting my friends here to catch up, especially during the holidays! The food is lovely. The teas are unique. The shopping...welllllll...I love the tarragon chicken salad and the the SAUSAGE ROLLS!!! Happy holidays!!

We had the best little holiday tea party there! Will make it a yearly tradition and introduce it to others! Such a fun atmosphere and unique gift shop.
