Now this place along with their perfect pasta also pairs it the best ragu....mouth watering.
Another favourite at A Tavola, if you're a seafood fan the Bondi restaurant offers the spaghetti with mixed seafood which in almost every restaurant I've had has been overly fishy but A Tavola executes well.

My mum and I tried their Darlinghurst location and we loved their ragu pappardelle. So with a visit to their Bondi beach location with my husband, dad and son in tow, they all decided to get the pappardelle and I opted for their seafood linguine this time. When seated, we were given complementary herb focaccia bread with chilli oil to dip which was pillowy soft. It was so good we wanted another serving and they were very friendly and had no issues with that.
We actually went to a nearby bar and had drinks before so we didn't try any of their wines but shared their calamari and mixed salad. We found the food to be delicious and as we were dining early, we were well looked after by the friend...

In amongst the bustling streets of Bondi is a fantastic Italian restaurant called A Tavola on Hall st. we had lunch there a few days ago and can't wait to go back. The service was first class and helpful ( Italian speaking waitresses) which makes the whole experience that more believable that you could be in Italy.
I had the snapper fillet which was cooked to perfection with asparagus and orange beetroot topped with I believe a basil based sauce. Just superb!. My wife had the squid ink pasta with fresh seafood and the taste was again perfect.
There were washed down with an expensive Italian rose prosecco . What more could one ask for.
Suggest you get down there and enjoy a little piec...
Had great experiences here before but this time I walked out before eating.
Ignored by staff members standing around chatting, given attitude for no reservation in an empty restaurant, asked to wait at the bar but not offered a drink.
Sounds precious I know but if you want to charge good money then look after the customers. Even if it means you have to catch up on the weekend later.
A Tavola is top quality Italian dining. Came here for a bday celebration and the service was fantastic. All the staff are very friendly and welcoming.
We practically ordered everything on the menu. All the pastas were fresh and the flavours were so different with each dish. Everything was delicious and will definitely need to come back soon.
Amazing fresh pasta, great service and all round delicious food. A Tavola is such a treat. Take friends, eat, drink and enjoy the bounty of life. Food with passion and love from people who care what you think.

Came here for dinner. The service was great and the atmosphere nice. I'm not a huge Italian fan but this place was yummy, the entrees were my favourite, calamari fritti and the buratta are a must to order.
Opted for the calamari fritti, pappardelle ragu and their specialty 4 layered dessert.
