Thank you for an amazing lunch today We walked around Bondi looking for somewhere to have lunch most places were closed. But!!! We turned the corner there stood Pompei's Bondi open, warm and welcoming. We went in were met with a welcoming smile and shown a seat, handed a specials menu, wine list and the main menu then left to peruse them. After just the right amount of time the amazing waitress arrived and took our order addressed our questions with good knowledge of the food available. We ordered the spaghetti with capers, chilli, anchovies and cherry tomatoes and the gnocchi gorgonzola. We stumbled upon this restaurant while searching for a place to eat in Bondi. I have to say, this is the best Italian food we have had in a while. We thoroughly enjoyed the pasta dishes and gelato. We can't wait to return and try more items on the menu. Huge compliments to the team for both the service and the delicious flavors!
This restaurant is a fantastic spot to relax. They offer some of the best pizzas in town, as well as a wide selection of delicious Italian wines.
