The food was very good. That was unfortunately where the good ended. The Duty Manager had it in for us as we had a two year old with us. The Duty Manager, Marcy, had the security stand next to us for the entirety of our visit which he was embarrassed about. When our party was asked to leave and the security stated there was no reason he had to evict us and I asked Marcy why, she stated I don 't need to give one DO NOT go here if you want a warm reception with kids if Marcy is working. OR if you want to support ex service members as it was confirmed to me today that they no longer associate with legion and they are actually a stand alone club still using the Legion name.
I ventured there for the first time and was pleasantly surprised. We had a table on the Veranda with some views of the beach (large pine trees obscuring) with a see breeze. The staff overall were nice with one exception, an older lady behind the bar who was quite grumpy. We ordered the seafood platter which was very nice. Salmon, prawns, oysters fish etc. Topped it off with a glass of Sauvignon Blanc. Recommended and will return.
As soon as we arrived at the restaurant as visitors from out of town, we were warmly welcomed. The food was delicious and fresh, and the waiter was very friendly. The view from the balcony overlooking the beach was fantastic. We would definitely return to this restaurant.
This is 50 metres from Coogee Beach. It is a typical NSW club with live music, reasonably prize booze, and club food. Specials make food a bit interesting.

The restaurant has a fantastic and welcoming atmosphere, excellent music from Partners in Rhyme, delicious food, and the most impressive view in town.
Good food, reasonably priced drinks, but run by the obligatory ''Old Hag'' that seems to be present in every club in Australia.
Still the best hidden gem in Coogee....perfect spot for a meal and a drink with a stunning beach view...unbeatable.
Great warm and friendly club...best bar staff, always smiling! A view to kill! Gotta love Coogee Beach!
