Abat Cisneros Cafeteria Monistrol De Montserrat

For over 114€ it’s not a great value for the room quality as everything is outdated but the convenience of staying up on the mountain is worth it. Checking was quick and easy. The crowds absolutely clear out after 6pm. We took the funicular/train from the town below free parking at the station, 24€ for two people round trip. Drops you off on the mountain two street levels below the hotel that you can walk the road or take stairs up.

Really, all the food is good...except the desert was a little weird. Cool setting and convenient to everything (this is a small hilltop), the food is pretty good. We had three courses (the veal filet is really good) and enjoyed all but the desert. It's all tourists (from Spain and abroad), but that doesn't matter here and it is expected. Friendly and helpful wait staff.

We went for a dinner during our stay at the hotel. The food was amazing, the service top notch. I’d recommend to have some food there if you’re on the area.

Pricey, but delicious pre-fix tapas menu in a historic space. Much less crowded than the other places to eat around lunchtime.
