My husband and I were in town to see my father. This restaurant was surprisingly open on Christmas, which we were so grateful. I didn't really know what to expect, but everything exceeded my expectations. The tacos were some of the best tacos I had for years. As a bartender, it's very hard to get a great margarita. You'd think it'd be easy, but it's not. I ordered a Skinny and it was perfect. Not too strong and extremely smooth. The owner Pablo came to the end of our meal, which was checked for us and was so hospitable. Our server Mariah was on everything and made sure that our experience was amazing. I wasn't impressed with my experience. I ordered the Speedy Gonzalez from the lunch menu, which cost $9.30 after tax. This seemed a bit overpriced considering what other restaurants charge, but I decided to give it a try. Unfortunately, the taco and enchilada were quite small (see photo). The food was packed in a standard styrofoam to-go container. In terms of flavor, I was disappointed. On the positive side, the staff were friendly, and the restaurant itself looked nice. However, I was really taken aback to find that my to-go order didn't include chips and salsa—those are an extra charge! Because of that, I won't be returning and would not recommend this place.
My friend and I visited this restaurant for the first time and loved every moment! The ambiance was fantastic, the food was delicious, and our server, Oscar, was exceptional! We were hooked from the start with the fresh salsa, which had just the right amount of kick. Oscar not only provided excellent recommendations, but he was also very attentive to our needs. If you decide to go, make sure to ask for him! *In the photos, you'll see the Lenguas Tacos and the Chimichanga—both were absolutely delicious! I also had an organic raspberry margarita, which I highly recommend if you're looking to try something different!
I really enjoy their menu and the service, but our entrees were quite salty—so much so that I couldn't finish my chicken, and I usually love chicken! Despite that, I plan to return and hope they’ve addressed the issue. We didn’t mention it at the time, but just writing this review is making me crave it again, haha. We have been to this place before and we have pleats experience but since the menu changed, they have increased the price of food which i understand due to covid. But charging extra for chips and salsa is unheard of at Mexican restaurant. Also we paid $2.25 for 2 oz cup of hot salsa which was half way filled!
I came across this restaurant while driving through the area, and I’m glad I did. The food and atmosphere were both delightful, and I really enjoyed my margarita. The only downside was that our server seemed to be a bit slow, but overall, it was a pleasant experience. I would definitely return.
We had a wonderful experience here! Every team member was attentive and had a fantastic attitude. The food was delicious, and we will certainly be returning! Be sure to try the Chile Relleno—I added chicken, and it was absolutely amazing! Réservez une table maintenant
