Visited Aby’s last night and it was a total miss for me. I move to this area last year and have heard great things about this place and was excited to try it after the reopen.The food took forever to come out, and when it did, my food was on the table about 15 minutes before my wife’s.The fish tacos were bland and came with just appeared to be cilantro. No flavor at all. Even worse was the fact they were cold as I was waiting for my wife's food to come before digging in. Also they give you a tiny amount of rice.The room was large, stark, and about 10 degrees too hot. The server was friendly and apologetic to every table within an earshot. Abys Mexican restaurant is located in Matawan, New Jersey and it is a must-go location if you're in the area. Our server was Scotty and his service was fantastic. Simply fantastic with also giving his favorite suggestions as well. He was a very nice gentleman and truly cared for his guests to have the best experience possible. All meals come with chips and salsa which is fantastic since an Appetizer is included with your meal. To upgrade the chips and salsa I would suggest adding the guacamole to enhance your taste buds.
