After ordering grilled salmon for $30! and waiting 1 hour and 20 minutes for it to arrive cold and with barely any vegetables I could see I was still going to be hungry. It was not nearly enough for an adult! My sister was asked to order something else as they had run out of the salmon, 2 other meals were barely warm. The waitress said when we questioned the coldness & were told that the plates are prepared early with sauces, then the main food applied when it was cooked. Instead of reheating she bought us some hot sauce to add over the top. Laughable as it was barely warm also. By then we were so hungry we ate it very nice flavours but had to have a sandwich when we got home! So disappointe...
Once in a while, I'm tired of cooking and will dine at this local Japanese restaurant. The atmosphere is warm and relaxing. The decoration is pleasing and not over the top. If you sit by the big window, you can see the train station and the carpark. There is a semi open kitchen and the chef cooks really well. The food is presented in an artistic way. I eat only hot food. I love teriyaki chicken rice and goyza. Many patrons chose soft crabs and raw fish. I'm totally satisfied with the food and service here.
I was initially disappointed with the menu but was pleasantly surprised by the actual dishes brought out. Every dish tasted really yummy and presentation was great. View of the carpark wasn't too bad. Service was great considering it was just one last serving the whole place all night! I think chef also went an extra mile with making sure the food was amazing. We'll be back!

I just had the lunch bento box with the salmon collar and it was delicious. The salmon was juicy and flavorful. The service was top-notch and the wine pairings complemented the food well. This was my second time having lunch here and it won't be my last. I have noticed some low-rating reviews from people who clearly don't appreciate authentic Japanese cuisine.
The Japanese cuisine served at this restaurant is fresh and beautifully presented in a delightful setting. While you may pay a bit more compared to other sushi places, the quality and quantity make it worth it. I was impressed by the wide selection of dishes available, and my children particularly enjoyed the bento boxes.
After not visiting for many years due to moving to another state, we recently returned to this restaurant and were warmly welcomed by the owner who remembered us. Despite the challenges of COVID, the owner continues to provide excellent service with a smile. The food is truly exceptional!
Andre and his team serve up excellent Japanese cuisie with a very personable service. Definitely one of the better (if not best) in and around the Gordon area. If you're interested in some authentic Japanese you must check it out.

We went there on Valentines Day. Service and food quality are not good but price is high. They short staffed but still let people come in. I will not visit this restaurant again.
I have been there a number of times, the food is always fresh and well presented. They take pride in what they present. Slightly pricey.
