I love Thai food but I have an allergy to nuts so eating Thai food is potentially very dangerous for me!Food allergies need to be taken seriously when a customer’s asks for no peanuts and lets the waitress know about the seriousness of the allergy it is a surprise to receive a meal with peanuts in it - yes!! This restaurant has served peanuts to me twice now and yes I was very ill having an anaphylactic reaction both times. Maybe I am expecting too much but if you’re in the food game and you could potentially kill someone I'd be taking it pretty seriously.Food is good but the risk is way too High.Never to return : (
I always think that you know the true nature of a business when things go wrong. Because sometimes things do go wrong.Retreating into a "I don't speak English" blank look and ignoring the problem does not help. Pretending to be on the phone does not help. Making people wait with incorrect assessment of how long does not help. After almost an hour from when we ordered, I think we have a problem.Own up, apologise, give me a free glass of house wine and we can all be friends again. Act like it never happened and we have a problem.You really do need to work on your service.
Nice restaurant and atmosphere but that's where it stopped for me. The food is lacking true thai flavour. For entree we had the duck spring rolls which you couldn't even taste the duck. Mains Massaman beef meat was tender but lacking flavour and Chicken pad Thai not bad but who serves lemon and not lime with this ruined the meal in my opinion. We have moved from the Central Coast and are yet to find a Thai restaurant that matches Charming Thai restaurant on the coast... Will keep searching.
We love Charmed for being a great place to go to have a meal. They offer very affordable good quality food, good service, and don’t keep you waiting, our meals came quickly, and importantly, both together ?? We’ll be back again soon.
