Went here tonight for the first time and will definitely go back! Our waitress was so friendly and the food was fantastic! Everyone in my family had something different and we all thought our meals were delicious! The restaurant is cozy and has character, which adds to the dining experience. I like that they serve local Alberta beers too. Forget the big chain restaurants and support great local places like Accent Lounge! Planning to go back again soon!
This was our first visit to accent. The ambiance is quaint, turn of the century old style wooden tables. Service was very good, we went on a Saturday evening, the restaurant was full when we left. The schnitzel was delicious, the large portion had 2 large servings of schnitzel. The shrimp appetizer was very good. Reservations recommended, we will return. This is located in old strathcona and unfortunately parking is always a challenge
We ordered the beef goulash which was pretty good. The beef was a bit tough but not too bad. The potato dumplings option is recommended and helps enhance the dish. Note: they remove the free bread from the order if you add the dumplings which I don't understand so I didn't like that, plus the portion size isn't that large so the value isn't quite there, otherwise I did like the food and experience. Service was good.
My partner and I went for dinner here with some friends that are an older couple. Initially we were unsure of the place but there is a pleasant, relaxed atmosphere. The food was very good and we all thoroughly enjoyed our meals. Our waitress seemed a little unsure of what she was doing but aside from that everything was fine. I would recommend this restaurant / bar for a chilled evening with friends. Réservez une table maintenant
We purchased a group on for 4 to Accent European Lounge. It is very close to the theatre we were attending with fiends so the 4 of us met there for supper first. The room is delightfully homy, not too loud, well lit. The menu is varied and the food superb with nice sized portions. Service was excellent. A great place to eat and even better with the Groupon deal!
Nom nom!!!! I have had steak tartare before and always think it is a little plain. This version is more like a good pub food with deep fried eye bread and RAW GARLIC. We ordered one each as recommended by the server and it was a great idea. The room is beautiful with thick wood tables and a long bar with vintage lighting. Bright and cozy. I will go again soon
My wife and I visited last year for the first time. We had purchased a dinner groupon coupon for this occasion. I order a steak, my wife ordered a salmon special both were very tasty . Nice small restaurant right on 82 avenue. Very busy for this small restaurant. full capacity during dinner hour.
Atmosphere was great, quaint little find. First time I have tasted Steak Tar Tar and I loved it. Food was fantastic and service was very good. Recommended if you are looking for something other than the ordinary. 4 of us were all impressed. Réservez une table maintenant
Came to Accent Lounge for half price wine night! Got a great bottle of prosecco half priced and paired it with some mussels and fries. Quiet night on the patio and loved it. Always have a great meal here
