Ad Hoc - Réservation de table

If you’re worried about social distancing and Covid safe rules then give this place a miss. When we were there recently, they did not stick to density limits or practice social distancing, nor did they ask us to check in or ask for our vaccination...certificates and the boss man was walking around with his mask under his chin talking and spitting over the coffee and food as he served it. Very disappointing as the food was pretty good. We did not feel comfortable inside.

Fantastic to have our local cafe Ad Hoc back after COVID disruptions, their summer menu has so many options cooked up by their Chef Dion, highly recommend the Pad Thai salad that's just been added. Great coffee and James the co-owner always gives us a...laugh and makes you feel welcome. Consistant staff is always a sign of a good venue and their team definitely efficient and welcoming. We always try to have at least one visit a week to this fantastic local cafe.

There is nothing that compares to the quality of food at Ad Hoc. In fact, the only time we go elsewhere for breakfast is when we can't get a table on busy Saturday and Sunday mornings, especially with the reduced capacity currently. My favorite dish is the corn fritters, but everything is delicious and you can taste the difference in the quality of the ingredients. The staff is great and they serve good coffee. Definitely the best café in the village.

we have sunk without reservation for Saturday brunch. we sat quickly on the only remaining table with very friendly service. we had coffee and breakfast. service was friendly, casual, fast and the quality was excellent. the meals were all top quality and. the coffees were very good. the attentive service continued when we ate to us to check that we were happy. a great atmosphere and meals. we will come back when we are local. Unarguably the best café in Mt Eliza. Innovative breakfast menu and delightful outdoor seating. Service was happy, very personable and friendly. A sign of a good café is the number of patrons of which there were many. But no sense of cramping table...distancing was as required. We shall return.

we have arrived a fast late lunch. the staff was very friendly, although it closer closure beat the best eating. we loved the wonderful tasty suppe homemade) with delicious sourdough. I wouldn't normally eat the bread that comes with suppe, but. this broth that I could not leave unobstructed.

The hot cappuccino is actually HOT. I hate tepid coffee and this is definitely not that. And the off menu James’ Canadian Breakfast sourdough and maple syrup (honey) and crispy bacon that is crispy. Yumbo!

The restaurant offers a fantastic selection of breakfast and lunch options. The coffee is good and the atmosphere is beautiful. They accept bookings in advance, and the owner is very polite. Réservez une table maintenant

I visited this restaurant twice last night and I ordered the mushroom dish both times because it was excellent. The drinks were great and the service was superb. A definite win-win-win!

coffee was average but more disturbing was the owner not wearing a mask coughing, splattering everywhere. not very hygienic.
