If you're ordering from the menu with no custom order, you'll be fine probably. They used to be very good at getting my order right. Last 2 times now (including today) they messed it up pretty badly and it is inedible since I have an allergy. I went inlast time to ask them to make it again but I'm not gonna bother doing that twice. I'm going to avoid this place for a long whileunfortunately. It's no big deal since there's 2 other Mexican restaurants nearby but I really liked their food so it's a shame.I did get a refund.
I came in today Ordered 2 Toratas with all the works, we literally got two pieces a bread with a big piece of Carne Asada steak and lettuce and Avocado. I took a bite and all I could taste was the burnt piece of meat. I?ve had Tortas from other Adalberto?s and I have always been satisfied. This location had bad costumer service. No ?Hello? no ?thank you? we even tipped them. This location on Fair Oaks is not good! Go To the one on MADISON OR DEWEY, They?re great good service and good food.
I had a very disappointing experience at Adalbertos Mexican Food today. The carne asada super burrito was awful, tasting unpleasant and unappetizing. The two burritos and the beans were also subpar. The quality was worse than Taco Bell, which says a lot. If you’re looking to feel miserable for the day, this is the place for you. It’s unfortunate that a Mexican restaurant would serve food of such poor quality.

I love their three rolled tacos (taquitos) because they don’t overload them with a small amount of cheese, too much lettuce, and just a little guacamole. Those days are gone here—in fact, the lettuce is gone completely! And the amount of guacamole and cheese? You get plenty of both. The employees I’ve met have been very nice and efficient, so you can consistently count on good quality here. I’m a big fan!
Just had it today it was Terrible. The carne asada super burrito was terrible, tasted like dog meat. Also messed up 2 burritos and the beans were terrible. They should be ashamed.. No Mexican restaurant should serve food this bad. Quality was below tacobell and we all know how bad they are!!! If you want cold sweats and to have Kentucky mud but for a day...Then this is yourplace!!!
I usually frequent the Adalbertos in North Highlands but was on the way home and saw this one. Same Same. Monster burritos and good chile rellenos. Hats off to Adalbertos for bringing not only one San Diego style fast food joint to the Sacramento area, but a whole chain with many locations.
This restaurant was not only open at 1;30am, it was excellent. I want to give a shout out to the guy at the drive thru window for his cheerful customer service . It was a pleasure.

Great food but my combo meal was like a stew. Everything ran together and it was not enjoyable. Will order in separate containers next time. Very disappointing.
Out of the 3 similarly named restaurants this is my favorite. Everything I?ve had here is delicious! Their horchata is the best!
