We spent $100 on New Year’s Eve at Ada’s. The hostess was rude, acted like she hated her job. Didn’t even speak to my husband who walked in to pick up our to-go order. Just shoved a bag in his hand and that was that. When we got back to our hotel, to our dismay, we realized the $17 cheese appetizer plate was in fact a snack size portion that you could find from your local gas station. Not even enough for two people to share. This cheese platter, although titled “snack plate”, appears much differently in their website photos and makes you believe that you’re getting enough to share with others. I’ve been to Ada’s a few times. It’s terribly overpriced for what you get but the food is decent. Last night I had the carbonara which was reminiscent of boxed mac and cheese and had this kind of uncooked flour taste to it but it was still pretty good. BF had the roasted red pepper pasta and it was good but the “burrata” on top was meager and probably not real burrata. For those prices you should at least get a piece of bread with your pasta, or complimentary bread for the table. Cocktails and tiramisu were good, service was fine but a little slow. To be honest I will probably try somewhere else in the area the next time I have a celebratory dinner.

Paid $5 for bread and dipping oil and only got a measly amount of bread wrapped in tin foil and no oil or dipping anything. Also not worth the money. Meatballs were dry and lasagna had so much cheese on top that it was nauseating. $100??? Take your hard earned money elsewhere.
I attended a Christmas party here tonight. The atmosphere was amazing and our waiter Hyatt was fantastic, knowledgeable and attentive. I had the meatballs for an appetizer and they truly were some of the best meatballs I have had. I had the arugula and Burrata salad with balsamic glaze which was incredible. For an Entree I had the Pasta Carbonara and it was one of the best things I have eaten. I will definitely be going back!! Food: 5

Fun, lively atmosphere, but a bit overpriced. I'd appreciate a complimentary loaf of bread with these pasta prices, but no. It looks cool from the sidewalk, but there is better food and more reasonable prices at nearby restaurants. Vegetarian options: I had a veggie pasta dish with red peppers...can't remember the name. It was tasty, but not 5 star. Service: Dine in
Overpriced, Lasagne was lacking noodles and ricotta, all you could taste was alot of sauce, the pizzas crust was not only burnt but tasted like cardboard, meatballs were very good however. Oh. My. Goodness. The pasta!! Of all the pasta I have ever had in my entire existence, This has been the BEST homemade pasta I have ever had. Th carbonara was cooked to perfection and the pistachio pesto was silky and divine. A must stop in Rockland. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
