It's become a tradition for us to stop off at the Adlerhütte for Kaffee und Kuchen during our hols in Kitz.I can highly recommend their Apfelstrudel, which is absolutely divine - bursting full of juicy apples, topped with light as a feather filo pastry, dusted with icing sugar and served with flavoursome local cream.I also had peppermint tea and was pleased that it was quality leaf "Bio Tea." It came complete with a wedge of lemon and a small jar of local honey, which was a lovely touch.Service at the Adlerhütte is friendly and prices are very reasonable in comparison with other mountain huts. Smiling reception and very attractive map. The kitchen is neat and very good. particularly reasonable price for kitzbühel. beautiful terrace. The place is well hidden halfway from the top. do not leave kitzbühel without having lunch or having a taste in this friendly mountain restaurant.
During our trekking in Kitzbuhl we found nice place to relax and tast unforgettable strawberry milk and very fresh trout. The place offers as well area to take nice sun tent. Very helpful service.

Friendly staff, lovely terrace and reclining chairs, trout comes from their own fish pond. Easily reached by Kitzhorn II gondola. Get out mid-station, 150 yards easy walk
Very friendly waitress serves high quality food for a friendly price. We had awesome knudel suppe, just like my grandma made it, and very good schnitzel!
actually not typical, but we have actually eaten in garlic. was very good. price was right. we had a nice little bite of sunshine in front of the house.
