Adria Restaurant Rotenburg

This is a small restaurant that caters for the local people with enthusiasm, it was very busy on the night we went, and I suspect would be on most nights, always a good sign in my opinion. The food was very nice, and the atmosphere...friendly, but it was let down for myself by a German only menu, and staff that also struggled to communicate in my native tongue of English. Please take into account that being in Germany, this is to be expected, but my experience would have been so much better if I could have really explored the menu, as their dishes on all tables looked wonderful. I had an American steak, I would say rump, and it was well cooked, and served with a mushroom sauce in a boat, not poured on top, which I like, as too many establishments disguise a bad steak with a sauce hiding it's sins, not here though. I would recommend Adria to guests of the local hotels, and I'm confident they would not be disapointed.

Fängt schon mit der Salatbar und der familiären Begrüßung an. Frische Gerichte auf dekorativem Porzellan. Ständig etwas Neues und nicht über Jahrzehnte nur Cevapcici, welches hier Speckmantel auch lecker ist.

Sehr gute Steaks, Mittagstisch abwechslungsreich und angemessen im Preis, feundliche Bedienung. Manchmal (sonntags) ist Reservierung hilfreich. Gruß Uwe

The food couldn't be better! Also great service. Didn't expect such a classy restaurant in such a small town, worth visiting from a distance!
