Afghan kebab house

I purchased a takeaway lamb kebab roll with chips and a soft drink for $13. The portion size was very large, enough to share between two people, making it great value for money. The chips were crispy, freshly fried, and well-seasoned. The roll itself was also massive, perhaps with too much pita bread, resulting in an imbalance of filling to bread ratio. However, there was a generous amount of meat and salad, and the combination of garlic sauce and chili sauce was delicious. The meat was thinly shaved but a bit dry and tough. Overall, the food was quite enjoyable.

After buying a new sax reed at Ozwinds in North Road, I crossed over to the north side to this unprepossessing cafe.<br/ <br/ I ordered Mix Kebab $14 which arrived  in a few minutes with rice and salad. The guy brought out some sauce which was nice.<br/ <br/ The chicken, beef and lamb were tender and tasty. The rice was delicately spiced. The accompanying salad was simple and ungarnished yet surprisingly complemented the entire meal.<br/ <br/ I've tried several places along that strip of North Road and this is the best. I'll be back.

the restaurant is modest and unpredictable. but the kebabs are delicious, and the worth excellent. as good as the many afghani restos in dandenong. the warmer left the bottle of garlic sauce generous on our table so that we were able to be thorough... with him. a perfect addition to fresh and delicious meat. great for taking along or immersing a quick one.

they always feel welcome here. to the earthing device with a many number of sortiments, from their kebabs to fried rice to liver sandwich and not to mention the amazing paratha chai deal for (my fave). onkel (the owner) is always in the...store and whistles every dish on the menu on their request. Been here a couple of times and loved the kebabs. They cook the skewers over the charcoal grill and that gives a smoky flavour to it. The prices are cheap and quality is nice. Would defs come again for a grub.

This restaurant is absolutely fantastic. I visited for the first time today and will definitely be returning. The decor may not be extravagant, but the chicken is the most delicious I have ever tasted.

i came here once for a midweek takeaway and I was impressed with the flavour. The meat has charred flavour and simply delicious. The portion is big for $9. My favourite is chicken kebab.

Really nice food for the price. All sampled were very tasty and good when mixed. The containers had dividers which made eating from the takeaway annoying. Otherwise really good (y) Réservez une table maintenant

Good lamb and chicken kebab rolls! The chips are not all that great, but the kebab rolls are definitely worth a try! Friendly owner! Will return for sure.

in the rule they have to go after springvale or dandenong to get great Afghan food, but in this quiet suburb is one of the best secrets for tasty eating
