We understand that this restaurant has been here over 25 years. We can see why. The decor, service and food is authentic, genuine and really enjoyable. It’s so obvious that the food here is cooked with love and pride. We had never had Afghan food before. It’s sort of like a mixture of middle eastern, Asian and Indian even. This is probably misleading though. It is it’s own cuisine of course with a rich history and it’s very tasty and rustic on what we had here. We loved every single dish we tried. We had the Badenjan Bourani, Ashak, Mantoo, Qorma Badenjan, Qorma e Gulnee, Beef Kabuli Palau and Chicken Khandahsti. We went on a weekday, and I was very happy to discover this quiet place where to go with friends with whom you can have a pleasant conversation. Indeed, most places in Australia are a bit loud for my standards and I have a hard time engaging in a conversation. <br/ <br/ We also really enjoyed the food: dip naan and Sahakyan as entrees, lamb karma, chicken kebab, and gulpee korma as main course. The owner is a nice guy that will help you choosing, if you have any doubt.<br/ <br/ <br/ <br/
The best Afghani restaurant I've been to. Being a vegetarian, lots of options, wonderful flavours, super-friendly staff and overall an amazing experience. highly recommend and I will definitely be back.
Loved trying Afghan food for the first time! I tried a lentil curry and potato curry which were so tasty!<br/ <br/ The team here are so friendly, love the atmosphere. Would definitely go back!

Great ambience with matching great quality of food. The eggplant dish was so simple, yet so tasty and the bakhlava was deliciously sweet. Great place, will definitely be going again!
Great hospitality and atmosphere. Came here with a voucher and enjoyed the korma lamb curry which was the highlight for us. Great for vegetarian. Very clean and healthy food.
One of the few Afghan restaurants in Melbourne and it did not disappoint! Warm atmosphere, delicious food and great hospitality. Highly recommend the mixed kebab and baklava.
Good food. Light on spices, yougurt and shami kebab were great. Chicken and meat pieces were plain, slight improvements with spices will go a long way on those dishes

Fabalous traditional food!! I enjoyed nice flavours of Kabuli Palau, Kebabs and yogurt tonight accompanied with Great service and soulful music!!
My favourite place!! I could live off of the bolini and cauliflower dish forever super welcoming... I recommend this place to all my friends!
