African Queens Market African Caribbean Grocery is a great place to find authentic African and Caribbean food and groceries. The store is well-stocked with a wide variety of items, including fresh produce, meats, seafood, and spices. During my visit, the store is going through expansion. As a result, the inside is a little chaotic. I did not really browse the store to see whether they have a selection of prepared foods, such as jollof rice, waakye, and chofie. The staff was friendly and helpful, and they were happy to help me find what I was looking for.
There is a wide array of Ghanaian products here, including Nido, Milo, suitor, Gari, and more. I was pleasantly surprised to find Ghanaian chips as well. That 's just one section of the store. In another part, they have clothing, hoodies featuring the Ghana map, anklets, waist beads, cocoa butter, and more. It was a delightful experience, evoking nostalgia to see these 'Made in Ghana ' items in a foreign country.
