Ainsworth Hot Springs Resort

I’ve always wanted to stay at this resort, sad to say I was a bit disappointed…The rooms were outdated with tacky old decor. Multiple bugs in the room, after killing 4 bugs we went down to talk to the staff, we were told “ it’s normal, they are harmless and there’s nothing we can do “ for the price you’re paying it’s a disappointing there were the same bugs in the restaurant as well There’s no microwaves, which again is disappointing considering the price… the restaurant takes the last seating at 8pm, so if you arrive late… good luck getting anything to eat in the area. What a fantastic place to escape with anyone! The food is excellent, and the service is superb. The rooms are cozy, and the hot tubs are amazing. The rooms are very comfortable and conveniently located near the hot pools and the restaurant.

The cave area is truly impressive. It's an actual cave, allowing you to explore all its natural features while enjoying a soak in the hot spring. It's a charming space. Rooms: 5/5, Service: 5/5, Location: 5/5.

I made a beak. It was good. The caves are always hot. Have eaten several times in the hotel before and in the restaurant. It's all great. Great burgers! Rooms: 5 Service: 5 Location: 5.

The best developed hot springs in the Kootenays. The cave distinguishes it from the rest. One of the best steaks I've ever had in my life out of the restaurant, incredible.

The hot water pools are fantastic! If you can visit during a less busy time, it feels like paradise.
