Airport Chalet - Réserver une table

We stopped at Airport Chalet for lunch because the parking lot was full of local cars. Good choice. It was nicely furnished and tastefully decorated with historic Yukon aircraft photos. We both ordered their daily special, which today on Friday was seafood - a bowl of New England clam chowder and a tuna sandwich on toast for $10.

Reasonable price, accommodating helpful staff with convenient location for layover situations. But I'd definitely find something else in town if I was in Whitehorse for more than a day. Typical cheaper motel vibes, cleanliness was a bit suspect, but overall I'd stay there again if I had anothet late check in and early fly out.

Nice mixture of an old time modern feel. Great daily specials on the board. I had the Polar Burger....... Best burger I have had in Whitehorse.......

Friendly, cheap place for tasty food. Portions were hearty and plentiful, and lots of local beers available.
