We were looking for a place that wouldn’t break the bank since we were spending around $100 together on dinner each night, which wasn’t sustainable. I remembered the diners from my time in NYC and searched for one nearby with great reviews. This turned out to be the perfect spot! On my first visit, I ordered two pancakes, bacon, house fries, and two eggs. I thought it might be too much food, but once I started eating... WOW! the parkway diner is an unforgettable culinary experience. After in connecticut, where diners had once grown abundantly, it was refreshing to see how much the parkway diner kept the classic diner attack. all from the vintage refrigerators, stainless steel decoration, old time music and even the ketchup holder were in the thema with a classic vintage dinner. each detail has been taken into account. better yet, eating is all made of scratches and certainly not disappointed! great service, excellent ambiente, excellent eating! they could not ask for more in a culinary experience. very pleased this restaurant was revived in burlington. a must see if they are close to life or go through! beautiful new/altern place to breakfast. the historical diner feeling is cozy and the food is hearty and tasty. I had the two veg options for the breakfast veggie hasch with policing eggs and the veggie breakfast burrito with endless coffee enjoyment. look forward to the barbacoa breakfast burrito and lunch sandwiches. I'm visiting from Minnesota and met some friends here for breakfast. The diner has a charming and cozy atmosphere, along with delicious food. A special thanks to Leigha for the outstanding coffee and service; she truly went above and beyond despite how busy it was. I highly recommend stopping by for breakfast!
