Wollten nach einem stressigen Tag den Abend spontan mit einem Restaurantbesuch ausklingen lassen ... ohne Reservierung in Gießen an einem Samstag scheinbar nicht möglich!?Auf dem Heimweg kamen wir dann am Akropolis vorbei und da wir immer das Gutscheinbuch in der Tasche haben, dachten wir es sei einen Versuch wert und wir wurden nicht enttäuscht!Freundlicher Empfang und Bedienung die immer nach dem Rechten sah und sich erkundigte ob alles in Ordnung ist ohne zu nerven. Das Essen dauerte leider etwas (etwa 45 min) aber dank des wirklich guten Weins war das kein Problem. Die Portionen preislich angemessen, wobei das Rumpsteak eine gute Größe hatte, wie gemalt war und auf den Punkt! Auch ansons...
I visit the acropolis on a very regular basis when pouring in. eating is very good and plentiful. it is a good mix of traditional Greek and Italian as well as a few steaks. the selection of drinks is good and most can find something. so. the best are the owners and the staff. they are always very welcome. nothing seems to be too much annoyed and the service is always with a smile.
let's just say that none of us hated it, but it was quite common to eat the mill for sure, totally bizarre menu, the half Greek and half Italian with a bit German thrown for good size! the food is...ok and the service we got was actually very good, but so an unusual place!
